And Jesus answered and said unto them,
"Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24: 4-5)

Let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children (sons) of disobedience.
Be not ye, therefore, partakers with them"
. (Ephesians 5: 6-7)

Jesus Himself has warned us, and now I believe that the last day are upon us. We have seen the explosion of wickedness, sin so evil and so horrifying that unless we “Take Heed” , we ourselves should become desensitized and be at risk to fall away.

Let no man deceive you by any means; for the day shall not come, except there come the falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he, as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
 (2 Thessalonians 2: 3-4 )
PERDITION= Eternal Damnation, same as Hell (Merriman-Webster).

Luke 21: 9-20
Lk 9)
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions (rumors of wars), be not terrified; for these things must first come to pass, but the end is not at once (yet).

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature (beast) say, “Come and See”. And there went out another horse that was red; and power was given him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another; and there was given unto him a great sword. (Revelation 6: 3-4 )

God sees the wickedness in the world today. He knows the thoughts of the heart are of evil and sin continually. Selfishness, greed, pride, perversion, vengeful, hurtful, self-centered, dishonest, mean spirited, disobedient to parents, and just down right hateful. Not only toward their fellow man, but toward God also.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.(Genesis 6: 5)

They hate the very mention of His Glorious Name. In today’s society there is very little dignity and morals among our young people anymore. Sexual immorality is the normal in society, and in our churches. Young people want to “fit in” with their peers, both in their schools, neighborhoods, and their churches. We have compromised the purity of our youth for acceptance. Oh Lord, what have we done!

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God; God is not in all his thoughts. (Psalms 10: 4)

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
(Romans 1: 18-32)

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be”.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but is this not describing these days, in the 21st Century? Is not the media bombarded us every single day with rioting, hatred, sexual immorality, fornication, evil and sick perversion, images being made of people both dead and alive, then making them gods? With the increase threat of nuclear war and violence blood shed in the Middle East? We as committed Christians need to pray for Israel. As far as God’s concerned Israel is the center of the universe in that, all Biblical Prophecy describes the future events that will be taking place in the Middle East at the moment Jesus returns for His Church.

Our Governments have turned against its people for power and control of the world.
The increase of human pain and suffering tears my heart out daily. Imagine how God feels when He sees the innocent child being murdered for convenience and profit.

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold or hot. I would thou wert cold or hot.
So, then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
 (Revelation 3: 15-16)

Take heed, people of God, that we don’t become so desensitized to the crimes committed against humanity, and our children, and even the brethren, that we become deaf to their cries. How sad it is when someone cries in loneliness and no one hears.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done unto me.(Matthew 25: 40 )

We must become the body of Christ once again. Together we must lift our hearts and voices in one accord in prayer and praise as ONE BODY, setting aside our “religious differences” and come together to worship God, our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, in the unity and power of the Holy Spirit.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4-6)

The day draweth nigh Church, when Jesus Christ Himself will return for those who have been faithful and committed to live by (and in) the truth of God’s Living Word.
Those who look for His return will be with Him face to face, in His Loving arms. “Welcome home my good and faithful servant” He’ll say to each and every one personally.
But until that day comes we still have a job to do. God calls everyone of us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to baptize in the Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. (Genesis 6:11-12)

Lk 10)
Then said He unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
Lk 11) And great earthquakes shall be in different (divers) places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

There have been, and continues to be, many signs from Heaven warning the world that judgments for evil and wickedness is upon us. And this judgment comes from the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the One True Living God, Righteous and Holy. Jesus Christ Himself, whom the world has rejected, will execute all judgment.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.
For as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself;
And hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man.
Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice,
And shall come forth: they that have done good, unto life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of the damnation"
. (John 5: 25-29 )

Folks, this very person, Jesus Christ, whom the world continues to reject will be the very person to judge their evil and wicked sin.
How much more proof do you need to be convinced that the return of Christ is at hand?

Let’s continue with our studies.

Lk 12-15)
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, deliver you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my Name’s sake.
And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Settle it, therefore, in your hearts, not to meditate before what you shall answer;
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to contradict nor withstand (gainsay nor resist).

What Jesus was saying is that, if you are fully and sincerely committed to Christ, you will suffer persecution, even from your family, friends and the religious leaders of today. There are committed Christians that are being killed throughout the world for their faith in Christ.

This world is full of religious bigotry, hatred and violence. Murders, mass killing, torture, and prejudice, all in the name of their god or gods. They will hate you because of your faith in Jesus Christ. Even your Christian friends will hate you and desert you because of your passion for righteousness and the depth of your commitment to Jesus Christ.

Lk16)
And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Lk 17)
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

If they hate you, know that they hated Christ before they hated you. Jesus said that he would never leave you or forsake you. Even in the midst of an evil and perverse society. You will be abandon by your family and friends because you refuse to compromise. Even your church brethren will avoid you. But be strong, for your strength is from the Lord.

”...And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world (age)” (Matthew 28:20)

Jesus said
 ”But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but the Father only.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.
 (Matthew 24:36-37)

As the ark was a refuge for Noah and his wife, his sons Ham, Shem, Ja’pheth, and their wives (and our food supply) to save them from Gods judgment upon the earth, so was the ark a “type” of Christ as the refuge for His people from the final judgment. (Genesis 6:14 notes)

Lk 18-20)
But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that it’s desolation (tribulation) is nigh (near).

(Theologian notes: Two sieges of Jerusalem are in view in the Olivet Discourse, the one fulfilled in 70 AD, and the other yet to be fulfilled at the end of the age.).

Our patience possesses our souls? What does that mean? Who can be patient while being persecuted? Especially by our family and friends?
Good question. Seems to me that Jesus experienced that very thing. He was abandon by His friends. The religious leaders spit in His face. They slapped His face and mocked Him. They watch while He was being beaten ruthlessly.

Life is short, and eternity awaits. Please pray this prayer right now;

Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God,
            and I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
                   I receive you into my heart and to be my personal Lord and Savior,
                     I believe that you shed your precious blood and died on the Cross for me.
                       I believe that you rose from the grave and are alive today so,
                     that I could forever be alive with you.
            I will denounce all that is evil and follow that which is Holy
                   for all the remaining days of my life.
              Thank You Righteous Father for your eternal Grace and forgiveness
                    I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit, to guide me, and teach me how to live for you.
                     I believe right now that my sins are forgiven, and I am no longer the same.
                      I believe I am a new creation, and will forever proclaim that Heaven is my home.
                     Thank You, for I am eternally grateful.
                                                                                                              In Jesus' Holy Name I pray. Amen
