A Love That Changes Lives

01/01/17
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved
(John 3: 16,17).

Most people, at some point in our lives, has heard that God loves us. Some might even have some belief that Jesus went to the Cross and was Crucified and shed His Blood to to forgive us of sin but have never repented and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

While most church goers profess themselves to be Christians, and agree with the basics of the “Ten Commandments”, they've never felt them important enough to live by them, though they know they should.

And if you ask them if they believe Jesus is coming again as the scriptures proclaims they may have their doubts, or at least He's coming some day.

Sadly they've never completely given their lives over to Christ. They have never really taken the time to get to know Him. Their lives have never been changed by the Love relationship we're meant to have with Christ.

"
If a man loves me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make OUR abode with him". (John 14: 23)

We could never fully understand the implications of what Jesus was saying. That if we keep His words, that God, our Righteous Father, our Creator, Holy and True, with Christ our Savior, will made their abode in our hearts, guiding our lives, and being proactive in our walk with Him, through the giving of the Holy Spirit? That is so deep, who can understand it?

I don't know about you folks but I seriously trust God's promises more then I know the sun will rise tomorrow.

There is a new birth in a person's heart when they commit their lives to Jesus Christ. Jesus called it “Being Born Again”; “
Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

We have all sinned against God folks. We all have rebelled against God and sought our own way. We no longer want to love God like it was meant to be.

Instead we've learned how to hate and kill our brothers. Rejecting the “Love of God ” has changed the human heart forever. But the “Love of God” will forever save your eternal soul. Accept and receive God's great Love, and let Him change your heart.

When Jesus told Nicodemus, who was a Pharisee and a teacher of the law, that “
Ye must be born again” He asked; “How can a man be born again when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born”? (John 3:4)

Like many of us, he could only understand the things of the flesh (though he was a priest in the temple and teacher of the law). He was void of spiritual understanding and blinded to what Jesus was actually saying. If you seek the flesh, from the flesh you will understand. But seek the spiritual, so that you may understand the spiritual.

Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound of it, but canst not tell from where it cometh, and where it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit (John 3: 5-8).

Love changes people, always has. When a man loves a woman his whole life changes. His focus is continually on his love for her. Love motivates people to do the craziest things, whether good or evil. I guess the real question then should be, is it love or is it lust?

You see, lust is really rebellion against what is the Truth. Lucifer lusted for power and rebelled against God because he couldn't get his own way, and he tells everyone that will listen to do the same. Satan will lie to you and tell you that it is your “birth right” to have your own way; to do what makes YOU happy regardless if it hurts other people.

Lust will often appear to be love, until your heart gets broken, then becomes bitter and resentful. Lust can be centered on many differdent things, like power, sex, money, physical attraction, and the things the accompany wealth. Sadly lust has caused many people to rebel against God's Authority become eternally separated from Him.

Pure, absolute, and unadulterated Love, on the other hand, is of God, because God is Love, and will change your life forever. Your eternal destiny with God the Father hinges on the sacred words from our Lord Jesus Christ.

A new commandment I give unto you, that ye Love one another; as I have Loved you, that ye also Love one another (John 13: 34).

So what do you think would happen if you chose not to love God as Jesus commanded? What if you chose to resent your neighbor, or hold bitterness in your heart toward your brother? And what if you chose to live your life as you will, without any thought or regard for the Righteousness of God your creator? And what if you refuse to repent from your sins and reject Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord? And what would happen if you chose never experienced God's forgiveness personally?

Would the rain still water your lawn? Would the sun still shine on you each day? Would your garden still grow? Would the bees still pollinate your flowers? Would you still wake up in the morning, like every other morning? Would life still go on as usual like every other day?

The answer would probably be yes it would. But when you die, and we all “will” die one day, you will stand before the judgment of Christ and be held accountable for your sins and be eternally separated from the Love of God.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27).

Will you love God today? Will you let His Love change your life? You may believe that “God Loves you”, but your life will only change when you unconditionally surrender to His Love, and surrender your will in exchange for His perfect Will for your life.

God is going to Love you no matter what, whether you love Him back or not. Whether you accept His Love or not He will always Love you, and will always extend His hand to you.

Folks I implore you, please take His hand today. Let the Power of His Love fill your being. He will fix the things that are broken in your life and will bring your life back in sync with His eternal plan He's always had for your life from the beginning.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with Love (1Corinthians 16: 13,& 14).
Quit=Conduct, Behave. So you could actually say it this way; “Watch, stand fast in the faith, Conduct yourselves and Behave like men”.

What a concept, men being men, and behaving themselves like men of honor, faithful conduct with dignity in Biblical Truth in the Love of God.
But praise God that there are still many of men that remain strong in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, refusing to compromise the Truth of God.
And praise God for our sisters in Christ as well, strong and mighty women of God. Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Thank You and God Bless you!!
Men and women of God, who have personally experienced the depth of God's Love through their undeniable trust and commitment to the Truth are, no doubt, motivated by the Love of God in their hearts for others. Love is to esteem others greater than yourself.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. (Philippians 2:3)

I know what the world is saying about the Truth. I know that “religion” disguises itself as Truth, but teaches you their precepts as commandments. But religion is not the truth. Jesus IS the Truth. Everything and anything that differs from the Truth is a LIE!!!

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18).

What an awesome privilege to receive His Love, being given the opportunity to repent and accept God's free gift of Salvation, and be eternally in His presence. Blessed are they who live by the Truth of God's Holy Word, and the Love He has shown the world by the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.

It is a privilege to be men and women of God, but it comes with a responsibility as well. To be faithful and honorable in all things, letting the Truth of God guide you in all matters; Teaching your children the way of Truth, and to Love God.
Love will change the intentions of your heart. And Love will also change the lives of those who depend on you.

And finally what is Love? Love is when everything that matters the most to you becomes SECOND only to what matters the most to God.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple (Psalms 27: 3&4).

Life is short, and eternity awaits. Please pray this prayer right now;

Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God,
and I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
I receive you into my heart and to be my personal Lord and Savior,
I believe that you shed your precious blood and died on the Cross for me.
I believe that you rose from the grave and are alive today so,
that I could forever be alive with you.
I will denounce all that is evil and follow that which is Holy
for all the remaining days of my life.
Thank You Righteous Father for your eternal Grace and forgiveness
I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit, to guide me, and teach me how to live for you.
I believe right now that my sins are forgiven, and I am no longer the same.
I believe I am a new creation, and will forever proclaim that Heaven is my home.
Thank You, for I am eternally grateful.
In Jesus' Holy Name I pray. Amen
